Jeremy de Tolly has played and worked with many forms of sound - he moves between various genres and platforms - from rock band “The Dirty Skirts”  to  precious “Piano Nocturnes” to corporate music production, to a deepening of spirit with Mantra. Most recently he has re-ignited his fascination with “how music moves us” - not just on the dance floor, but also on an internal visceral level in its ability to shift our frequency.   A soft passion for Jeremy, is the joy people find when they finally come home to their voice.
Fiona Soma has played and worked with many forms of somatics.  She curiously approaches the body not from the mind, but more from a place of sensation and feeling combining movement and asana in finding a true “I’ve arrived home” vibration.  Most recently she has been exploring how a malfunctioning vagus nerve ( fight, flight or freeze) affects our communication, expression, listening and ability to socially engage, and has incorporated sound into her current exploration with frequency for restoration.
Jeremy and Fiona met 16 years ago and have since become trainers of TRE® (Tension/Trauma Release Exercises).  They continued their fascination with the tremor mechanism process not just with themselves, but also introducing it to an NGO that supported homeless people in Cape Town, South Africa.  A profound 18 month initiation into “real life” offered them both a large dose of humility and compassion.  Since, they have both cultivated international careers that are grounded, productive and most importantly bring immense joy and satisfaction.  In bringing Electric Heart to the world, they hope to have curated an experience that will bring you to “Home Frequency” -  thats the place that feels yummy, delicious, safe and nourishing.  From here we can moved towards true and healthy expression towards a life aligned, centred and always in integrity. Once we find our soul’s voice we can communicate in “truth”; once we align to our body’s unique frequency, we can just be, in “truth”.
Finding your tremor mechanism and finding your voice is when your heart starts singing - it softens you deeply internally moving you towards a lighter, more playful and more authentic version of yourself, allowing for relationships that hold a rich resonance for growth, regulation and sustainability.
You will be safely guided through various crafted and creative practices that move us towards a more tuned nervous system, social engagement system, and communication system.  Playing with tone, song, words, colour, frequency and movement we combine a rich and creative blend of processes that can also be “take home tools” to explore further yourself.
Through TRE® (Trauma Releasing Exercises), fascia release, Chi Kung and play, we’ll explore simple yet uniquely profound DIY mechanisms that are useful for re-connecting to our natural joy. Via the practice of gentle stretches, asanas, and positions that massage the tissue, muscles, fascia and viscera, we can access the deepest healing vibration, that can re organise and realign us to our true healthy selves. With practice, we can be moved towards a life of more peace, presence, balance and integrity; and a body that is more relaxed, resilient and able to repair.

We’ll dive into the powerful world of mantra, the ancient technique of using repetitive sound for deepening presence, or developing an ‘enlightened mind’. Through mantra practice, we’ll shift consciousness into a sense of deep peace and spaciousness. It’s in this space of connectedness that we can access our hearts, the source of joy, love and bliss. You will be taught how to use mantras to recreate these experiences in your everyday life back home.

We’ll explore our voices, and perhaps for the first time, learn to love and truly appreciate the sound that emanates. From the tone deaf to the confident diva - all voices are welcome. Most of our voices are frozen or blocked, and in this workshop we aim for every participant to leave feeling confidence and appreciation for their own voice, as it is.

Anyone who is not comfortable with their voice.  Anyone who feels “not good enough” when they sing.  Anyone who doesn’t sing because they have shame around their voice.  Anyone who doesn’t feel able to communicate effectively and cohesively in the arenas of work, family, relationships, authority and the bedroom.   Anyone who uses their voice for a living, or works in communication, the Arts, sales, consulting, facilitating…well most of us!  Anyone who wants to be able to be more boundaried and less bullied.  Anyone who wants to have healthier communication on all levels with themselves, their loved ones and life itself.
